Why become a team member?
Have you ever gone to a consignment sale and felt like maybe you missed some of the best deals? Any person who helps as little as 3 hours at the Sunflower Sprouts Sale gets to shop before any other shoppers. This gives you the first opportunity to find the best items at the lowest prices. For example, if there are 3 outdoor playhouses exactly the same, and one is priced by a consignor at $200, another priced by a consignor at $100 and a third at $25, you’ll have the first opportunity at buying the nicest and most inexpensive of the 3 that were priced individually by the consignors...not by us. Not only that, become a team member so you can get a few hours out of the house and enjoy some fellowship time with other moms, grandmas and possibly some dads. We try to have some fun amongst the fast paced chaos. We typically need close to 1000 team member hours to make each sale a success.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: We have the right to do criminal checks on all team members. Any person with a criminal record will not be allowed to help at our sale due to the nature of our business.
Team Member Shopping Opportunities:
Team Leaders: Shop Tuesday, April 13 from 1:00 - 9:00 PM)
Fulfill 12 hours (four - 3 hour shifts) - Shop Tuesday, April 13 from 1:30 - 9:00 PM
Fulfill 9 hours (three - 3 hour shifts) - Shop Tuesday, April 13 from 2:00 - 9:00 PM
Fulfill 6 hours (two - 3 hour shifts) - Shop Tuesday, April 13 from 2:30 - 9:00 PM
Fulfill one shift (3 hours) - Shop - Shop Tuesday, April 13 from 3:30 - 9:00 PM

ALL 6, 9 and 12 hour team members who are also consignors receive an extra 5% of their earnings totaling 70%. (NOTE: Your shift does not need to be complete for you to shop early. As long as you are scheduled to work during the sale week you are entitled to shop early at the team member shop.)
Is it hard for you to come in to help but you want to be able to shop early? Do you have a parent who is retired or family member who has extra time on their hands. We allow someone to fulfill the hours for you, so you can shop early. It's called teamwork, and we are all about supporting working together toward a happy outcome. Alternate Team Member Opportunities/Bartering:
No time to help during the sale? There are a limited number of opportunities to help prior to the sale in advertising. Please contact us at least 4-6 weeks prior to the sale with an area in which you are able to help us advertise by posting flyers, yard signs or distributing post cards. Based on the help you agree to do for us will determine how many team member hours you can possibly receive. We typically require at least 3 hours worth of advertising help to qualify for team member hours.
We will also consider bartering for services such as printing, advertising, photography and more. We are also open to other ideas you may have. Perhaps you know a reporter or have a connection for radio advertising? How about a preschool, club or sports group? Contact us with your idea.... we would love to hear it!
What you need to know when you help as a team member:
UPDATE: If you were scheduled to be a team member at the Spring 2020 your scheduled day of the week and time transferred to the new month but same day of the week and time. You can go in and make changes accordingly on the team member schedule. You can delete your shifts, add more or change dates and times.
